Volunteers make CCJDS a great community! There are so many ways to contribute: make and serve lunch at school, help plan classroom holiday celebrations, host fundraising and friend-raising events, put your computer skills to work to help a teacher or the Parents’ Association, create buzz on social media or closer to home on our PA bulletin board, reach out to prospective families, be a career mentor for an 8th grade student, and so much more. At school, from home and in the community, you can make a big difference.
All families are asked to contribute at least 10 hours of volunteer work per year (5 hours for single parents) but many parents have a great time doing more. Grandparents and friends also love to pitch in.
Contact Parents’ Association President Cristina Wornick (firstname.lastname@example.org) to start exploring volunteer opportunities. Thank you and have fun!
